I confess I did not know exactly where Singapore was when I knew I was leaving in exchange ...
Evil is now fixed:

the extreme southeast of the Malay Peninsula, the Republic of Singapore is strategically located at the entrance to the Strait of Malacca, which borders Malaysia to the north and south Sumatra. Its area of 682.7 km ² island is divided between a main of about 42 km (east-west) about 23 km (north-south) and sixty islets.
Separated from Malaysia through the Straits of Johor, barely a mile wide, it is connected to the mainland by a dike road and rail, the "Causeway", and a bridge at Tuas. South, the Strait separates Singapore from the Indonesian archipelago Riau.
The highlight of the island, Timah Peak is 165 meters above sea level
The population density is highest in the world (almost 6400/km ²) after Monaco (16200/km ² ). The population numbers about 4.5 million people. As a reminder, France has 60 million inhabitants. Between 1990 and 2000, the total non-resident (foreign nationals living in Singapore for at least a year) almost doubled from 10 to 19% while the share of permanent residents is 7.2%.
The three main languages are Mandarin (35%), English (23%) and Malay (14%). Malay is the national language as a symbolic (used for the national anthem). The ruling party, however, preferred to promote the use of English as the language uniting communities and foreign trade. More recently, instead of Mandarin has been strengthened in education and public display.
If you see this flag, it is not that of an Islamic country but Singapore (when I can I find the explanation).
The climate is equatorial, hot and humid all year with a season of heavy rains November to February. The frequent violent storms show.
The average annual temperature of 24 amounts to 34 °. There is virtually no seasonal variation or difference of temperature between day and night.
